Jeffrey P. Maks Worker's Compensation Personal Injury Commercial Litigation Insurance Defense

Mr. Maks was born in Portland, Oregon where he lived for a number of years before moving to South Dakota with his family in the mid l970s. Mr. Maks earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in l982 from Creighton University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Dakota in l986. Mr. Maks has been actively engaged in the private practice of law in Rapid City since that time. He served as an editor for the South Dakota Law Review. His professional associations include Phi Delta Phi law fraternity, state and local bar associations (currently serving as a member of the Worker's Compensation committee), South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Mak's areas of practice include worker's compensation, personal injury, commercial litigation and insurance defense.
