Ms. Hogue is a native of Miller, South Dakota. She studied at Mankato State University in Minnesota and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Sioux Falls College in l991. Ms. Hogue earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Dakota in l995 where she received the American Jurisprudence award in Trial Techniques. She has been engaged in the private practice of law since l996. Ms. Hogue is licensed to practice law in state and federal trial and appellate courts in South Dakota and Nebraska. Her professional associations include the American Bar Association, the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, Delta Theta Phi law fraternity, South Dakota and Nebraska State Bar Associations. She currently serves on the Practice Rules committee of the South Dakota Bar Association and on the Board of Governors for the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. Ms. Hogue's areas of practice include all aspects of civil trials, litigation and appeals, commercial practice, personal injury (auto and motorcycle accident cases), real estate, family law, wills, probate and estate planning.
